Now, she’s backtracking—just like she did during the pandemic, constantly moving the goalposts while hardworking Michiganders paid the price. Michigan is in crisis, and the numbers don’t lie. Under Whitmer’s reckless leadership, we’ve burned through a $9.2 billion surplus and ballooned spending by $30 billion—with nothing to show for it except rising costs, crumbling infrastructure, failing schools, and businesses heading for the exit.
