Some context for #GE15 . In history of @theSNP , 27 people have been #SNP MPs. Best result was 11 MPs out of 71 in Oct 74, with 30.4% of vote.

Did PM equate opposing bombing in #Syria with sympathy for terrorism? If so, he needs to withdraw this & apologise.

It’s true that it’s ‘only’ seven years since the indyref, but the UK is light years away from the version presented in 2014 . .

This week’s @SundayTimesScot column - it is the Scottish Govt’s conduct that is being judged this time, not Salmond’s; everyone should want to know the answers, not least SNP voters and Yes activists. #buyapaper

This week’s @SundayTimesScot column - an independent Scotland in the EU would be in a strong position: economically, politically and diplomatically. Scotland would a rule maker in Brussels, while the rest of the UK would be a mere rule taker. #buyapaper

Striking features of the @YouGov poll figures (Holyrood constituency): @theSNP support stronger among women (59%) than men (50%) and about the same for ABC1 as C2DE (53%/56%). These breakdowns, not just headline figs, very different from say 10 years ago.

Yes, be grand if Scotland could have done the same. (The irony is that if it had been Yes in 2014 indyref, there wouldn’t & couldn’t have been a Brexit referendum in 2016. Would now be 2 states in EU instead of 1 heading out.)
