This commission was to turn the iconic scene from the first Avengers movie into a comic panel, using 60's characters. I'm pretty sure Tony couldn't look up back then. I had to lean him back.

I'm a fan of the primitive way superheroes' powers were represented in the Golden Age. So, for this commission I played it up! I never thought about how Green Lantern's beam might be made of flame. It make so much sense coming from an old-time lantern.

I love Gil Kane's work.! I came across an unused, penciled page. I thought it would be fun to ink! Then-- I couldn't stop from creating a final-looking page. I'm certain the dialog I created is almost exactly what the original author intended. 🙂

The request for this commission was to have "first appearance" Batman hit the Joker with a specific sound effect. Done and done! I decided to put off-registered color on the Joker. THAT'S how hard Batman hits!! Black ink on Bristol, with digital color on a "1 of 1" signed print.

This commission was a reimagining of a scene from the first Wonder Woman movie. WW runs through a battlefield while fending off attacks. Most requests are for full figures, so it was nice I could concentrate on drawing an impactful close-up. More of these, please.

Someone might find this interesting-- about a recent post. My original idea was to have the first cover appearances of Batman and Spider-Man tangled together. The falling crooks were funny, BUT overall, the poses lacked drama. So I paired it down to the tangled joke only.
