We Kicked off 2025 by interviewing Ireland's top agri students competing in the @IrishAngusBeef Schools Competition!📍With 200+ entries, 70+ interviews over 6 days at @AirfieldEstate Dublin & @Teagasc Moorepark Cork, 35 groups will now advance to exhibit in Croke Park in March!👏

John is using LESS, a dribble bar system on his dairy farm. He blanket spreads slurry in Spring when the open season starts. He then holds 2/3rds of his slurry and spreads during grazing throughout the year.

Water quality is measured by the amount of biology in the water, if there are lots of invertebrates that can breath - that is good. Too much algae in the water cuts off oxygen for the important species who keep our waters healthy.
