Our goal today is to create “passable conditions” on rural roads, particularly those running north/south, to open them to emergency services. Ongoing coverage placed on state roads, high-volume county roads where hard-pack, icy conditions remain.

At 6:30 PM today, KCSO was assisting Wyoming Public Safety during an arrest near Eastern Ave & 32nd St. A KCSO officer was struck by a vehicle during the incident and was taken to the hospital. Our officer was evaluated and is expected to be released. Further updates tomorrow.
