Your co-residents truly become like family. I got back to work today for my co-residents to tell me they spent all afternoon looking at and researching the PGY2 programs that went unmatched in my interest area 😭😭😭

Got an activation for a possible ecmo cannulation today for a patient in the cath lab, and I walked in to see an all Black team operating. I was so happy I almost cried right then and there 😭 Representation matters so much.

Actually quite worried that I will not be able to attend all of the interviews offered to me if they are conducted on-site. Covid really leveled the playing field and I’m sad that it’s once again weighted against those not as fortunate 😭

Wow. Super emotional final day of rotation and pharmacy school. Was given an extremely complex patient to complete a patient case on as my final project. My preceptor said it was one of, if not the best, soap note she’d ever received. 😭😭😭

Spent so many hours preparing my first topic discussion for today even through the exhaustion of spending 12+ hours at the hospital. But it was all worth it to hear my preceptor say that it was “hands down the best VTE topic discussion” she’d ever received from a resident 😭
