96,000 views last August, simply overwhelming ☺️ I’ve upgraded the base to a heavier look. Wanna take a run at it? It’s available at Shackleton’s Auctions for the next 10 days. Bid online at #johndeere #oneofakind

Well we made this bucket-list build happen, it’s heavy, it’s solid, I’d like to see heavier legs on it, but the clarity we achieved is outstanding. Super Happy with the results! Ready just in time to offer for the @JohnDeere 2-cylinder club show in Drumbo this weekend.

Dandelions flowering today, full 7-10 days b4 normal. Indicator that winter annuals & perennials will be much tougher to kill this spring! Stack effective herbicide MOA’s. Use correct glyphosate rate & surfactant. Pay attention to H20 rate & other coverage considerations.

In all seriousness, myself and the @BASFAgSolutions team have used these to demonstrate to our customers the importance of seed bank management w MHR Waterhemp. Depending on the plant, each piece contains 0.5% to 3% of total seed produced per plant. Crazy recruitment ability.

Saturday Project: Finishing up resin coasters with Waterhemp seeds (safest place for them) for #weedgeeks @MeagGriffiths and @johannaburrows because you just never know what you might be asked to make next 😂

Many agronomists and growers are digging into their 2024 Crop Plans and making decisions on these dreary winter days. So…let’s revisit the subject of weed size whilst we make decisions on residual chemistry, shall we? #ziduasc #layeredresiduals #basftweets

Time to recalibrate what many consider a “big weed that’s going to be hard to kill”. Great comment on growing points Johanna!

@farmerbates @hamiltondw2 @LSawden @JohnDeere Some brands in the States aren’t available here and vice versa. In the resin marketplace you truly get what you pay for. Never use a resin for clear deep pours that’s in the bottom half of the price range. American makers I follow on IG seem to use Super Clear or Total Boat

@StephanieLeeB Many thanks Steph, and your guidance and support on the two colour choices I had to make were absolutely on point! Everyone loves the mahogany/copper base layer resin.

@hamiltondw2 @LSawden @JohnDeere I also use a high quality resin; premium price but for clear work like this it’s worth it. In the epoxy world you get what you pay for. Cheap >> headaches.

@hamiltondw2 @LSawden @JohnDeere No bubbles to sand off. They get torched off after pouring, sand the cured resin so the next layer has something to adhere to, repeat.
