@ScottDochterman Penn State has definitely recruited better by many services ratings. I would say coaching/development is similar with both schools having some issues over last several years. Good year by the Nittany Lions though

@KXnODrive Fred Dryer in tv show Hunter. Old but solid program. He was an All Pro for the Rams in the late 70s . He has a few others. Also Ronda Rousey and Gina Caramo.

@KXnODrive The Cowboys have a bigger problem than hiring coaches. They need to get some more players and manage the cap to do so. The Eagles and Commanders are not far ahead of the Cowboys.

@KXnODrive I agree that the Cowboys coach choice is questionable. Maybe this is a one year thing? I just do not see anyone out there worth hiring. Jones has never hired flavor of the month.

@KXnODrive The Big Ten has 2 bye weeks. Even up Conference numbers and even up Conference games. Go back to 5 logical location based Conferences. Play 2 non conference on a rotation among the Power 5 teams. You can move school calendar up. CFB needs to be done 1st week of Jan.

@KXnODrive High Schools can play at MLB stadiums. I have coached teams that played in Metrodome. Several teams has played at Busch. I think someone has played at Kaufman and Wrigley.

@KXnODrive Tim Lester is off to a great start. The last Offensive Coordinator that fans appreciated was Bill Snyder. Ken Okeefe, Greg Davis and Brian Ferentz . I may be missing one coordinator after Snyder. Brian Ferentz is a great Line coach and make some school/team happy.

@HorsemenPod Penn State and Georgia. All those schools have 880 wins or more in CFB history. Tenn. LSU. Clemson and Auburn have 800 or more

@xanbarksdale 4 is enough. 5 is fine if injury or redshirt. College participation doesn’t need to be a bunch of 24 or older players.

@TimKluender @ChadLeistikow @Tyler_T15 Most coaches don’t get fired when you win 8-10 a year. He has averaged 8 wins a season I think. He did make a big mistake with the OC when hiring son. He will retire soon

@GeorgegClay1 @TimKluender @ChadLeistikow @Tyler_T15 Kinda my point. Lots of not great football teams. Good players sitting behind great players at top programs. Recruiting is difficult. Iowa has been really successful for many years. Ferentz will retire soon.

@cbarngolf @r_barslou Corey Do you trust him to throw deep balls? They only threw simple throws and most if not all were on 1st down. I agree we do not play confident because we are not confident. Missouri QB had a QBR of 86. Sullivan was 43. His TD pass was on a shovel . He threw a good one to TE.
