@humanDAO @Cointelegraph Well, I assume if quantum computers can create problems, they will also help develop solutions. I mean, it doesnt work only one way

@_BigNobody @Cointelegraph Part of their AUM (to include crypto etfs, etc) belong to them, part belongs to other big funds and institutions, and retail investors hold the rest (i dont know the propotions, but its rather a small bit).

Retail traders, as usual, will join the party late, chasing the rise, only to get liquidated on every little dip #cryptocurrencies #tradingmindset
📉 JUST IN: Retail traders’ share of crypto trading volume has dropped to just 18%, down from 40% in 2021, signaling a continued dominance of institutional players.

@_BigNobody @Cointelegraph Most of institutions are AUM type funds and the managers make decisions, not retail. Thats a significant difference.

Sounds intereting, im also thinking about some small oil&gas potential gems. Only the "they starting production" part is a bit concerning. The expectations (and SP) are always high at the stage and these companies very often run into problems until they can actually deliver the promissed numbers let alone generate cashflow

It's like they think they're so great and amazing that they assume everyone out there dreams of becoming one of them. I mean, to some extent, it's true, after all, that's part of what made America what it is. But some of them clearly struggle to keep things in perspective. This kind of mindset happened to the ancient Romans and sparked their collapse. Hard to call it anything other than arrogance.

@MalcolmRaw99915 @quakes99 For BHP, U3O8 by-product is peanuts, but for the uranium market, it could be a potentially significant amount, considering how small the market is. There were high hopes among fuel buyers regarding this mine.

And the funny thing is, 5 years ago, they were saying #nuclearenergy was bad, dangerous, and expensive and that they didn't need it. Now they’re saying, 'Well, it’s not that bad or dangerous and it could help... but it's too late because #nuclear reactors take too long and cost too much to build.' (Same rhetoric in Australia) I wonder what they'll be saying in the next 5 years. But I already know what they'll be saying in 10: They'll all claim they were pro-nuclear from the start and blame others. (Just like how they now pretend they always wanted to diversify away from Russian gas) #uranium #energytransition #energy
🇩🇪 Germany shut down nuclear. 🇫🇷 France kept nuclear. Now: 🇩🇪 Germany buys nuclear from France. 🇫🇷 France has some of the lowest emissions in Europe. 🇫🇷 FRANCE: 50g CO₂/kWh 🟢 🇩🇪 GERMANY: 542g CO₂/kWh 🔴 Nuclear isn't the problem. Bad energy policy is.
