Today, I celebrate 3,024 days of being a transgender woman. I started Hormone Replacement Therapy at 15 years old. I’ve had Sexual Reassignment Surgery🐱 as well. It didn’t give me a uterus or eggs, but it did make it so I wake up everyday feeling like I see myself in the mirror.

I got my periods after just 3 months on HRT. It was so affirming but slightly embarrassing. I was right after I'd stuffed my face on a Chinese meal with work colleagues.The craps were horrendous. Still, the affirmation was worth it.

Look at my arms. I’m 115 pounds. Any man could easily overpower me. I’ve been transitioning since I was 15 years old and was put on Lupron for YEARS before I had SRS. I would be in danger if I used the men’s room on a regular basis. I’m entitled to safety just as much as you are.
