For 15 very long months, the vast majority of Australian politicians have refused to publicly condemn the actions of Israel, an illegal Occupying Power, perpetrating crimes against humanity, including genocide. For 15 very long months, mainstream media has refused to refer to the situation in Gaza as a genocide, which it undoubtedly is. For 15 very long months, this genocide has been referred to as a war. An Occupying Power can't declare war on the peoples of the lands it occupies. For 15 very long months, the Australian Government has refused to cease exports of F-35 parts used by Israel, sanction individuals or organisations supporting the genocide, or take any other action in line with the opinion of the ICJ. This was all done as a matter of policy, in complete disregard of international law and of questions of justice and humanity. And it's not over yet...... #Gaza #Genocide #auspol
