Reflecting back on this year's Hoop Group Pittsburgh Jam Fest, from someone who has been to EVERY Pitt JF since its' inception, this was the best EVER. The event went from a "Live" event to a "Dead" event & yet had more fans & teams than ever. The Buzz was out of hand. !!!

Best performance so far at Philly Live has been from Camden’s 6 7 Billy Richmond. It’s only halftime & he already has 17pts. Flies up Court & finishes or makes eye popping passes. Couple that with lift & great range on the jumper & he has good High Major written all over him.

Just watch Bryson Warren United 16s open Mid West JF with a 67-46 win over Illinois Jaguars. 6’7 ‘25 Malik McQuire went for 31pts by finishing everything in the paint. Hands are good & he does what he does best consistently. Low to Mids can definitely get involved now.

It has famously always been known as the Pitt Jam Fest but this year it is definitely the Pittsburgh Jam Festival/Not only R the games great & going to the wire but the kids R hitting baseballs & throwing footballs into these popular big sports blowups. Kids R having a great time

Best shooter here today is 6’4 Archbishop Wood’s Jalil Bethea. Kid crushes 22ft step back threes like they are free throws. 20pts in first half and has all the ear marks of someone who may not be in college for more than a year or two at most.

Just saw 6’4 wing Malcolm Dread just transferred to Mount St Mary’s from Richmond. Think this is a good move for both parties as Malcolm brings some physicality and toughness that will do well in the Metro Atlantic Conference. Mountaineers fan are gonna like him.

Good commit for Florida Gulf Coast in getting Archbishop Ryan’s 6’3 star Darren Williams out of the class of 2024. Wing is long, wiry & athletic. Jumper & handle are coming into shape and this kid has a pretty high ceiling. Early get is impressive.

Saw 6’1 PG out of NY Adam Njie has committed to Iona. Think the Gaels head coach Tobin Anderson got himself a good one in Njie. Kids has tight handle & plenty of speed. Add to that he can really explode to the basket & score or pull up from deep & drill jumpers is special.
