I gave 💯 today but unfortunately bowed out early. I had a ton of nerves leading into the event off the back of my injury & a pretty tough month but I scraped it all together & did my absolute best. My coaches feedback from today was I needed an earlier start with the inconsistency in the swell but other than that I did all I could, didn’t fall, didn’t make any priority mistakes and I made the most of the only two waves I had on offer. I’ll take some confidence into the second half of the Aus Open on the 28th knowing it’s only some minor adjustments needed to get on the podium.
