We live in a world where male violence and misogyny is driving women’s trauma and crises, no one will even name the true cause, no one will hold men accountable, no one will accept the levels of trauma and distress in women and girls’ lives, instead increasingly diagnosing them as mentally ill, hysterical, borderline and psychotic - but full headlines are written about men’s mental health being affected because someone said something they did gives them the ‘ick’. We might be on the same pitch, sisters, but we are playing by different rules. Our suffering means nothing. Their comfort means everything.

So to all my fellow survivors out there, you are inherently WORTHY, you didn't deserve it, you didn't need that to happen to be worth protecting or respecting. You are worth it all, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. 6/
