South and Mid Wales did not disappoint.
An incredibly dirty E46 carries on to Snowdonia tomorrow. Back on the roads I used to test Bentleys on. Shall see how it fairs.
You've been moaning to me for 3 months. I've finally got time. So welcome to cars I saw in Japan 🇯🇵 🧵
There was so much, I was probably a bit laxer taking photos than I should have been. Just viewed and enjoyed it.
Anyway! Here's a Toyota Century hearse. Spotted in Kyoto.
As I wound down Japan's answer to the Stelvio Pass today, I couldn't help but think what would be the dream car to do this in.
Obviously JDM. NSX NA1? Too long for the winding bits I think. Newer GTR's too much power to enjoy.
Full Inital-D AE86?
RX7?
Eco /Impreza?
Was catching up on my YouTube subscriptions on the way home and I'm 99% sure the girl next to me took a photo.
So somewhere there is a group chat wondering why a girl on a train was watching a video of a man taking apart the brakes on a Honda Insight.
I've been walking around telling everyone BMW were dicks for moving to the FWD Mini platform for the 1 series as it took away their biggest USP.
I am the dick.
I desperately try to stay away from fan F1 twitter, because let's be honest, it's a cesspit.
However Lando was trending and I had a look and......
I cant 😂😂😂 I wouldn't get this involved in my friend's relationships. Bloody hell.
@LateBrakeShow
Live did not dissapoint. Again 👌nothing like speaking to so many passionate, lovely people with really varied tastes. Top work Chops,
@Carpervert
and team.
Actually managed half marks in the quiz this time too 😅
I jumped off a plane at the weekend and went to see a group of mates I hadn't seen for ages.
Left my contact lenses there so asked for them to post them to me...
Tonight we teach my 30-something y/o housemate how to change a wheel.
She asked if I knew how to "change a tyre" and then didn't get the difference. So we have work.
I'm going to put a money box in my glove compartment with a sign saying "unfunny fucker tax" so that everytime I use my indicators and a passenger says "ooo indicators, didn't know BMWs were fitted with them", I can point them towards it.
My Dad had a suspected stroke today.
I've spent the day holding everyone together, telling everyone it'll be okay.
Spent the last hour holding my mum till she fell asleep.
I'm not sure it will be okay.
Neither of my parents have any interest in cars. They've never even owned one in my lifetime (always had a shit company car)
Me, on the other had, threw a massive strop at 1 y/o because my brother was driving a car at legoland & I wasn't.
Obsessed ever since. No idea why.
a lot of car enthusiasts get into cars through their parents or other family members, but where are my car folks who's folks have no taste in cars?
for example, my father once owned a Ford Tempo and thought a good car to replace it would be a Pontiac Sunfire(which also sucked)
Dear car forum websites,
Please stop deleting photos from old posts.
It is really annoying when I find a thread that perfectly describes my problem but the photo of how to fix it is missing.
Lots of love,
Me xoxo
First Gen Skyline. PGC10 for you nerds.
Spotted in a car enthusiast cafe between the Ashinoko Skyline and Hakone Skyline.
For photos of the 260Z (devil Z), NSX and Scooby in the background, look at my profile.
The positive mental health week has not gone great so far.
Had a pretty major break down in a car park.
Now my planned sleep stop has let me down so I think I'm sleeping in my car.
On the plus side, I'm driving this & heading somewhere far, far away 😍
My friend failing to read the correct day meant I went to
@LateBrakeShow
Live on my own 😅
Had the best time. Easily the nicest, most welcoming group of car pervs I've ever been around.
This week I had the huge honour of working at the United Nations on autonomous and connect vehicle safety.
I think the phrase "fish out of water" needs to become "An Engineer, in a suit, at the UN, in the room next to where President Zelenskyy is speaking"
In my head, the designer's Mood Board for the new M2 had a photo of a Max Power 106 on and a middle aged person failing to fight their middle age spread.
Finished a lovely game where I re-united myself with things I left scattered around Bristol.
Me, my car, my purse, my overnight bag, my own bed and my dignity were all in different locations.
And I've done it in last nights clothes. Which I slept in. And no contact lenses.
@lankylegohead
Christ alive.
The only way this could become more Facebook is if his wife pops up in the comments screaming that she's leaving him and taking Jayden, Brayden and Okayden with her.
Just turn Wembley into a full time concert stadium and tour England games around the country. Better atmosphere here than there's even been at Wembley for a friendly.

On my way to a meeting in London. Train is rammed with teenagers drinking warm Stella going to Reading Festival. While I'm on my laptop doing work.
I've suddenly had the realisation I am no longer young. Quite the existential crisis.
Update: Dad took a good turn in the right direction today. He is speaking normally now and having physio to help with his walking and vision.
Thanks everyone for your concern. It's fair to say I was broken when I posted this and had no idea where to turn.

Living out your suitcase can be tough. I know, I've been doing it for 7 months. It's especially tough when things aren't right at home and you're 5+ hours away.
But sometimes. Sometimes you finish work at a reasonable time, go for a run & you get to appreciate where you are 💜
Alex Choi is an absolute fuck wit for jumping that Tesla. Not least because of how many people were so close to the vehicle, trying to film it for content.
Lots of people laughing when sharing it. I just think he's a huge knob. Maybe I'm old and boring.
Couple of Akihabara delights.
Always a decent place to see some vehicles.
Along with the road outside Honda's HQ in Tokyo. Could have just sat there in a deck chair quite happily.
I've been working in Japan for almost 2 months now. It's been the most amazing experience of my life, both inside of work and outside, where I've been lucky enough to make friends with some incredible people and experience things that only seem possible in fantasy novels.
A lovely MR2 that hasn't been turned into an F355 or shit Murcielago that looks like it's been scaled on Microsoft Paint.
Seen parked up near Kanmangafuchi Abyss, Nikko
Found an extra ~75 miles of gold standard driving roads today that I've never done before.
My route in South Wales is on par, if not better, than North now.
Mine is this.
It's from my drunken walk to my hotel last week. Was going to post it at the time but I suddenly became aware that the fact I stopped to take a photo when I couldn't even walk straight may make me the most boring person in the world.
But this weekend, after not having a minute to myself, I decided to turn down fun in Tokyo & Nagoya to take myself off for a weekend in a spa town on the edge of their Lake District.
I regretted it Friday, but I wanted to go hiking, reflect and be thankful. What a place to do it
8 years later, I'm back. And work's paying all the bills. (Sorry for the sweaty run photo)
It feels so good I got here in the end & cool to look back at how far I've come.
A man tried to talk to me on the street tonight, and I freaked out so much I walked/ran away.
He may have been genuinely asking me a question, but as a lone female, walking along a quiet street at 9.15pm, I didn't take that risk.
Here's why I legged it... 🧵
I've been a bit shit posting for the last several months, mostly because I've not really been in the UK.
Anyway, I'm currently in South Korea working. Here's some car photos. 🧵
Starting off with a Mustang beautifully parked in front of a city gate.
Going for a meal with vehicle manufacturers in Japan is a weird experience. Essentially just waiting until someone builds up the courage to ask for a photo with me and then the following 20 minutes is just a photo shoot 😂
I'm a sucker for a 635 CSi. Proper family car this. It was the owner's Dad's car back in the day. Sold it. Then the guy (and Dad) bought it back years later.
I have no TV in my room at my parents. I also have no laptop with me.
I do however, have a 1.75 litres of rum and a case of Guinness. Time to party.
#QuarantineLife
I've down what can only be described as a 2 day hole of

content and its reminded me of the time this guy on Twitter thought Richard "very cute" Porter was James' boyfriend 🤣
Caffeine and Machine last night for Jonny Smith's I Love You, Man. Was a genuinely brilliant evening.
Pictures taken in the split second the sun wasn't burning out my retina.
Actually felt at peace tonight for the first time in quite a while.
No having to put on face, no telling everybody it'll be okay, no worrying. Just good people, good cars, good laughs.
Needed.
I always put my absolute all into everything I do. I will always be the hardest worker in the room.
Sometimes it's good to remember, no matter how much you grind, how many doors you open for yourself - sometimes it's not enough. And it doesn't mean you're not enough.
Another repositioning weekend to a different part of Japan. So obvs did a couple of nights in Tokyo to make the most of it 😍
Seen Mt. Fuji from yet another angle too.
Long story. Now at an airport
In Spoons, they've accidentally bought me 2 Guiness over. Things are looking up 😉
Didn't really want 2, but as it's free... and it'll be fuel for the epic 3 hour train journey I have the other side 😏
Yesterday some of my research for a project I worked on a while ago got published.
My proposal and business case for a multi million pound project got approved.
And I broke some records 💪
This morning, I had a fight formatting a table in Word & swore at it.
Stay humble.
