So much of our practice has been influenced by our own experiences and can be set in old routines that may or may not be grounded in best practices. It takes deliberate effort to step back and reflect on which practices are most effective for our students and our learning goals

Our task is not to question whether students with intellectual disabilities can learn mathematics but to continuously innovate and adapt our teaching strategies to unlock the potential in every student. -
