@sambandrey Sorry that’s not the story either. The story is that this line is flat going fwd, there will be almost no more growth, and as far as capital investment is concerned the current gvt has determined that there are enuf child care spaces in Ont. 🤯 #ontpoli

On the tug-of-war between motherhood and career and another reason why @sarahboesveld is such an important voice. ❤️
Y’all, @Refinery29 here in Canada has published an incredible package on new parenthood. It’s raw, it’s real, and I wrote an essay for it. Give it a read, if you want! Tx @CarleyFortune for making space for these experiences

@picardonhealth @aaronecarroll @UpshotNYT Sorry, take the point but stuck on this line: “About 30 to 40 per cent of working mothers pay for care outside the home.” Ummm... Dads don’t pay for it too? It’s mom’s job to stay home with the kids? Why this framing? It’s problematic and hurtful.

@chris_logel @chris_martin_n @ontarioloud @JustinTrudeau @liberal_party This issue is really animating amongst progressive voters. I doubt the PMs camp anticipated it would be as animating as it has been with key swing voters on the left. But what to do with that? I hope u get some answers with the writ dropped, @chris_logel

Andrew Scheer believes public schools are there for “parents who have to work”? Also, can someone please walk him through how class sizes are set and education funding 101. #canpoli #elxn43
Great public schools are the bedrock of 🇨🇦’s economy. The Conservatives don’t get that. That’s why they’d weaken public education with a reckless plan to fund private schools and homeschooling, as this video makes clear.
