Solidarity with nurses striking today. Been in and out of the Birmingham Women's Hospital all year and am always astounded and grateful for the empathy, patience, humour, dedication, kindness and humility demonstrated by those working under immense pressure for far too little.

I'm so sick of having to get expensive taxis because I don't feel safe waiting for the bus. Just waited for 8 minutes and got catcalled twice and had two cars flash their lights at me. Called my mum until the bus arrived but will probably pay for a taxi next time. So sick of it.
