I didnt even know you were supposed to study for SAT’s/ACT’s, my entry essays were looked over once, my parents didn’t understand the purpose of college visits, i didn’t understand the finances / lease agreements for housing. First gens really dont get enough credit.
My dad spent his birthday in the ICU getting intubated, he’s now spending Thanksgiving on life support, and he most likely wont be with us for Christmas. Please be mindful & stay cautious with COVID. As much as i didnt want it to be real.. it is. Dont think it wont happen to you.
By far THE strongest person i know! Im so thankful for everyone that was there for me and my family through such a rough time. MY BEAUTIFUL MOM RUNG HER BELL TODAY!!!!!!! SHE KICKED CANCER’S ASS and is FINALLY CANCER FREEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 💓💓💓💓💓
I didnt want to share this because i didn’t want it to be real. My dad passed away from COVID complications last night after a long fought battle in the ICU and we just want to give him a proper burial. Any amount helps, or even just a simple RT. 🤍
Ive never had a badass & memorable birthday full of love, nor have i ever been surprised. If i feel like i have to force plans upon other people, id rather not do anything lmao
1 year ago my mom finished her last chemo session. Blessed to still have her in my life for many many years to come. Happy 1st year of cancer-free life to my beautiful mother 💓

I am a FIRM believer that the energy you put out into the world (not just what you post on social media) is what is returned to you one way or another.
If you genuinely have an ugly heart, its gonna catch up to you someday.
My mom has had 5+ surgeries due to cancer and she’s now recovering from her last one. She was my first patient and being with her through her healing journey from beginning to end has opened my heart in so many ways.
Nursing gets tough but i really do love what i do.
A whole ass year ago i almost dropped out of UT because i felt like there were too many barriers to get to where i wanted to be with my career, and today i finished my first semester of nursing school :,)
