So, for the first time in 5 years of treatment I've finally lost my hair. This for me was the hardest mentally and I lost it in handfuls on the plane to the U.S. I'm feeling better about it now, brave enough to post this picture. Please be kind 🥰🙏

Hi everyone. This is Karen's husband posting this message. It is with a broken heart that I type this message to all her followers.. my beautiful wife Karen passed away early this morning. She fought so long and hard for the last 6 years and now she has found peace .

2nd Gemcitabine today. I had a week off last week because of a chest infection but back on track again. I haven't been well at all unfortunately due to swollen legs, chest, and generally feeling unwell but I'm still here and still trying fight into a new year..Happy 2024 everyone

Today has been a good day! My Oncologist pulled another chemo gem out the bag...Gemcitabine!! I didn't know i was eligible for this & I start on Friday. He thinks it has more chance of working than vinorelbine. It's incredible to have an amazing team behind me 🙏 @nottmhospitals

Sat waiting for your 9th cycle of carboplatin, feeling a bit fed up of long covid and cancer in general and "what have done to deserve this?" by the pet shop boys comes on the radio. You begin to think, is someone trying me something after 6 years of battling this disease...💔

Friends was such a massive part of growing up for me and I still watch it daily and know every word to every episode. Matthew Perry's humour has got me through some very tough times. Matthew was a troubled soul but hopefully he's now at peace 🙏
