.@hdernity you were saying?
#ArchivesTeachableMoment start a new binder or folder when one gets too full! This incredibly large book is an exhibit in a District of Montana case involving the Sunburst Oil & Refinery Co. It records 1928 royalty payments from the Kevin-Sunburst Oil field near Shelby, Montana.

I am having so much fun in #KCMO, in the library & around town. All historians should take a look at their amazingly deep and rich collections. Plus friendly & helpful staff! Thank you @LindaHall_org for a great fellowship program.
As a Linda Hall Library fellow, @KaraWSwanson will consult our collections to explore the relationship between the celebration of American inventiveness and civil rights across U.S. history. Meet Kara:

@AdamMossoff Knight's inventiveness & her victory when her first #invention was stolen were both amazing. She won an #interference, Knight v. Annan, Dec. Comm. Patents, Feb. 20, 1871, as researched by Anne Macdonald. Have you found a #patent infringement lawsuit?

Noticed prominence of #HistMed (horrible treatments) & #LegalHist (odd crimes and horrible punishments) Also given the emphasis on the BORING #HistoryTeacher as foil I want to shout out the marvelous history teachers my kids have had! #AHAReads (2/2)

.@lexlanham & @larafreidenfeld are only 2 of the many folks thoughtfully engaging w the influencer economy &/or #motherhood who will find this Short Takes interesting. No pay wall!
Is engaging ethically with momfluencer content possible? Why do so many derive pleasure from watching others mother? And how might the future of motherhood be reconceptualized? These and other issues are explored in our latest Short Takes!
