I also did my first Park Run last Saturday! It felt great, despite finishing somewhere near the rear of the pack! (I’ll get better. ) Over 700 people ran in Cardiff! I’m going to sign our practice in Mountain Ash up for the RCGP Parkrun toolkit!.
A great @parkrunUK @HMPHaverigg today. Great turn out but especially chuffed to see one of our lads do his first 5k today after coming through the parkrun Practice scheme. Started volunteering but, now 2 and a half stone lighter, was confident enough to run. 41 minutes. Awesome😀.

#RCGPCouncil member: training of GPs must be significant in future vision. Also need to ensure that being a GP is seen as a 'progressive career route' - GPs change position re what kind of GP they want to be (partner, salaried etc) as they progress through career.
