This has been one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make. On October 8th, 2024, I suffered my fourth concussion. I thought It would be like the others and I would be able to recover and jump right back in to playing. Unfortunately, that isn’t what happened. On top of my persistent headaches and migraines, I have been dealing with numerous cognitive issues that are now starting to affect my everyday life. It came down to having to choose between the game that has been my whole life for 15 years, and my physical and mental health. In the past, I would’ve just dealt with the repercussions, but this time was different. I had to choose myself. So with that being said, after 15 years of playing the game that I love, my soccer career is sadly coming to an early end. This is not what I wanted, but I need to put my health first. I have many life goals outside of soccer that would be negatively affected if I was to continue to play. I want to say thank you to @McMurrySoccer for giving me one last amazing year. Thank you coach @charles_nobles and coach Madelyn for supporting me and pushing me to become better. Thank you @CelinaSoccer for an amazing three years. Thank you @DallasTexansSC for giving me an amazing final three club years. Thank you to @SolarSoccerClub for starting my club soccer career. Thank you to all of my coaches for making me a better player and person. Thank you mom and dad for always supporting me and making this part of my life possible. Thank you to all of my teammates and life long friends I have made because of soccer. I am forever grateful for what this beautiful game has given me. This isn’t the ending that I wanted, but I am excited to see what the next chapter of my life has in store for me. Thank you everyone. #1 out.

@HuberDarren I plan on trying to become a coach. Definitely don’t want to leave the game forever!

@charles_nobles Thank you! I’m thankful I was able to end my career playing for a coach like you! You showed me I was always good enough and I am beyond grateful for that.
