In H.E today the pupils were making chicken curry! Lots of skills being used and the end result looked and tasted amazing. One pupil found this quite exhausting but is having it for lunch.

A senior pupil put one of our PSAs through her paces at the gym today. He shared all the knowledge he's gained about using the equipment safely and what muscles are being used.

Rural Skills pupils learning new skills and helping to clear up Gracemount Walled Garden after the storm last week.

Lower school pupils have been learning about how to attack a castle. We visited Borthwick and Craigmillar Castle this week.

Learners from Activity Tourism have visited Trinity House and The Holyrood Park Rangers. We were given tours and after had the chance to ask staff questions linked to their Employability unit of work.

Excellent concentration in today’s science lesson building pyramids using spaghetti and marshmallows! Well done to all of G4 for creating their own (yummy) masterpiece! ⭐️

We have been impressed with the pupils skills today in Home Economics. The seniors made chocolate eclairs, with the focus being on piping and final presentation. The juniors were focusing on vegetable preparation when making their egg fried rice. Well done!

Big thanks to @EdinInterfaith for visiting Kaimes today. They hosted a roadshow which was a really fun and interactive way for children and young people to learn about different faiths & beliefs.
