Introducing our new hole signs. With the renovation complete, the old signs with were incorrect. Very proud of our new ones as we put a lot of time, thought, and best economical approach into customizing them. We aim to complete 10 this year and 8 at the beginning of next year.

Different story from last year. We have made noticeable progress with our Primary Rough. Playing conditions have improved dramatically by keeping the Height of Cut under control We are in prime bermudagrass growing weather and are still ahead of the game. Getting better every day

There’s too much to do and not enough hours in the day as team keeps busy during the winter. Projects across the property are on going to continue making our place better. Plugwork, mulch/planting around clubhouse, stump grinding, and indoor projects. Waiting for green grass.

Moving greens head closer on Hole 7. Poor irrigation coverage for this 4,000ft2 green. This will allow us to become more uniform throughout instead of over-irrigating the front half of the green where the combination of foot traffic does the most damage peak season.

We just got a lot better! Update on our Job Board in our new breakroom. Things are coming along here at Kahite. Crew has been plenty busy all winter and we can not wait for the golf season to start to showcase all our improvements we have been working on throughout the winter.

Finally! A rain event. 1.5” last night and other than our bunkers, the golf course took it well. 8:15am double tee LGA18 outing with hole location 3 and all carts will remain 90 degrees. We will substitute wet bentgrass for a golf course that desperately needed this rain. Enjoy!
