Of course it takes longer longer because it a power law and not an exponential. The math is clear. So basically P2/P1=10=(t2/t1)^5.7. Or t2/t1=10^(1/5.7)=1.5. So you need to wait up to 1.5 the age of the system to go up 10x in price. In this case 1.5*16=24. So BTC will be 10x relatively to now in year 24 from the Genesis Block or 9 years from now.
