Thanks @EduMinOfIndia for sharing valuable information. NEP2020 is playing key role to enhance whole health of school education system in our proud country Bharat. We all together must achieve vision 2047 guided by our Honourable PM Narendra Modi g.
1️⃣ India’s school education system serves 24.8 crore students across 14.72 lakh schools, supported by 98 lakh teachers, as per the Economic Survey 2024-25. 2️⃣ The percentage of schools equipped with computers has increased from 38.5% in 2019-20 to 57.2% in 2023-24, according to the Economic Survey. 3️⃣ The availability of internet facilities in schools has risen significantly, from 22.3% in 2019-20 to 53.9% in 2023-24. 4️⃣ School dropout rates have shown a consistent decline in recent years, currently standing at 1.9% at the primary level, 5.2% at the upper primary level, and 14.1% at the secondary level. 5️⃣ The integration of advanced technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, is crucial for addressing the rapidly evolving dynamics of the education system. 6️⃣ The total number of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) has increased by 13.8%, from 51,534 in 2014-15 to 58,643 in 2022-23. 7️⃣ The Economic Survey highlights innovative approaches, such as peer teaching, as a key strategy for achieving financial literacy and numeracy targets.
