My office is seeking to intervene in a federal lawsuit asking the Court to determine that Ford County doesn't have the legal authority to represent all citizens and all governmental entities in Kansas. That authority belongs to the AG.

My office supports this bill.
I support the bill. But the law as it stands required me to enforce it as written -and hold that the bond election did not qualify under KS law. The law is strict. But it is not my job to change it. That would be an abuse of power. Only #ksleg can do so.

Racial discrimination is both immoral and illegal. Race-based employment hiring violates state and federal law, and as the chief law enforcement officer of Kansas, I intend to enforce the law vigorously.
While other companies right the ship and abandon their illegal, woke policies, Costco is doubling down. I am co-leading 19 states in calling on Costco to ditch DEI!

The bank's discriminatory behavior is a serious threat to free speech and religious freedom, is potentially illegal, and is causing political and regulatory backlash.
In April, I led a group of 15 state AGs asking Bank of America to do what Trump is asking today: Stop de-banking conservative and religious organizations.
