I always hate it when kpoppies solely rank vocalists based on their vocal grade alone. Jungkook is greater than plain ol’ vocal grading. He has the rare pop vocal abilities found in true popstar, smth that most of the A-grade 3rd gen vocalists dont have.
I think what stood out to me in “I Am Still” is that Jungkook often needs industry professionals to properly contextualise the greatness and difficulty level of what he is doing. PDogg, SungDeuk, Andrew Wyatt and David Stewart all telling us, NO this kid is really something.
