Given the heightened tensions, immediate priorities are a ceasefire & opening supply routes to facilitate humanitarian access to be monitored through joint EAC-SADC initiative. AU needs to endorse the initiative at its 15-16 Feb Peace & Security Council Heads of State meeting.
