The game is good but performance issues make it unplayable atm. FPS is about 1/3rd of what I was getting on ASE, servers are melting down, game crashes every hour + there's a weird mouse input delay on 3rd person which feels terrible.

has the potential to be one of the best games ever. The concept of ARK is amazing and if ARK 2 fixes the current issues with the game and builds upon it I think we could have an incredible game! Hoping they give PvP a bit more attention though, but very hyped nonetheless.👌

I hate to make this tweet but the entire smalltribes server we are playing on is cheating and allied against us. No ticket response for 3 days, they meshed our cave and now gonna raid us together. Would appreciate if someone can take a look.

How to revive ark pvp servers
1. Wipe them
2. Introduce seasons (around 4-5 months) but don't announce wipe dates so people don't get unmotivated.
3. Make the seasons coincide with small content updates
4. Profit??

Crazy that this is still happening even after years of this exact tribe cheating and not getting banned.
Now they are just banning their enemies instead of cheating like they did before. I remember getting aimbotted by them multiple different times around 5 years ago😂

Otherwise it's fine, many changes I like but also a lot of basic things that have been completely overlooked(no weapon/armor caps, hp+weight levelling being the same, 4x notes and ofc the 3rd person camera being almost unusable).Hoping they can get this game to a playable state🙏

I don't know how no one has mentioned this but the hitboxes on players riding flyers are broken. You can no longer shoot people off of argies, pts, etc. This along with the 3rd person camera inertia and mouse smoothing which throws off your aim even when in 1st person.

Why are there so many normal officials but still only 6 EU smalltribes servers? Isn't it common sense to have the most servers for your most popular gamemode?

I just noticed chairs are removed on Classic PvP, why not remove them from smalltribes too? It's been 4 days and I'm probably the first person to even notice and no one has complained about it.

Best: The new dinos, biomes, items, etc. So much to do on this map and it looks amazing. Mining drill is also great for solo players.
Worst: Some balancing concerns (bloodstalker, megachelon, spawn camping, etc.) and the FPS in volcano and some parts of snow and ocean.

Also characters are way too small but it might be too late to change that I assume? The movement speed nerf is good but it gets offset by such tiny characters which are hard to see/hit.

ARK needs to stop resisting change and start taking some risks. Official PvP is getting extremely boring, start having some fun with it and you'll see the game explode in popularity. Duo/Trios, Offline turret dmg increase, no-flyers, there are countless ideas. Keep things fresh!

They are nerfing cryopods way too much imo, which in turn just buffs caves even more. Something like a 1min massive debuff after using a cryopod + making it so you can't cryo dinos for like 2min after they've taken damage would've been fine tbh

A lot of people trying to find flaws with duo servers. Of course they won't be perfect but they will be fresh and bring a lot of people back. With some luck Wildcard might even enforce the rules. Let's not forget what happened last time Wildcard listened to me :)

So pretty much our biggest enemies on the server didn't get wiped with that patch a few days ago and could get a desert titan and kill any tame on the server, through your base, outside of turret range while everyone else was busy rebuilding. Thanks you wildcard, very cool.
