The will of man does not produce morality because man did not set the standard. This is crucial when talking to atheists because if no God then there is no morality. If morality was up to us we would have a mix of squabbling moralities as we see fit and God would just have really no say. However the standard is "you are to be Holy just as our heavenly Father is Holy". We are either slaves to sin or slaves to righteousness in Christ. (Romans 6:15-23) So the concept of "free will" is just not accurate to the human condition.

I may be young and dumb, but retirement feels like a scam. My goal isn't to stop working, or to finally do what I want, or to eliminate my sense of purpose and contribution to the world. My goal is to design a life filled with work that I don't want to escape from.
