I am learning terrible news this morning. Legendary Kentucky high school basketball coach Billy Hicks has passed away.
Unbelievably horrible news. Coach Hicks was a great man, a great coach and later in my life, a great friend.
We will all miss you coach!

Al Prewitt, a great athlete (Henry Clay and Transy) and a great coach (Henry Clay), passed away this morning. He was 86. Perhaps his proudest moment in sports was coaching Henry Clay to the 1983 state basketball championship. He will be missed. RIP.

With that said, after much deliberation, the KABC — in conjunction with the Indiana All-Star Director — has been forced to cancel the 2020 KY/IN All-Star games originally scheduled for June 5th.
The series will resume June 2021.
