What happened to "consultation"?
Norma Foley's Dept. for Children and Equality has announced a major escalation in the "no consultation, no veto" policy surrounding forced mass immigrant centres (IPAS). "The department also said they would no longer provide details of the names and locations of centres used for accommodation for international protection applicants." Foley is indicating that her radically progressive - and deeply unpopular - streak as Education Minister is about to continue in her new role. There can be no more blaming the Greens for these forced mass asylum centres - this lies squarely on the shoulders of Fianna Fail and Fine Gael. 👇👇👇
