@DavoustBaldPate @faolchdragan @DougWhiddo69434 @jondelarroz @ark_press @BaenBooks @DavidJohnButler Then shouldn't you be Davout's Bald Pate? Also, I doubt the Iron Marshal would have time to quibbble on the internet, even if her were still with us.

@WarpCordova Hmmm, dunno about that one. I do know, "allow me to be clear," means, "what the fuck did you not understand about the last email? I thought it was plain English."

No, it wouldn't. It would only require us to rebuild our own industrial plant, maintain enough military capacity to defend ourselves and a few countries that benefit us, and maintain a sane immigration policy. There's literally no resource in Europe we can't rebuild here. Frankly, while there's pain and suffering involved, there are very few resources anywhere we couldn't, given time and necessity, rebuild here.

Even if Europe continues on that trajectory, America is clearly not on that flight path. While we are not without demographic problems, we're not in the same boat as, say, Germany, and none of our demographic groups that ARE reproducing are going to tolerate shit like that happening writ large in America.

@dbroussa @TKratman @Jringo1508 @WittenBippens I'll confess they're better equipped for that, but given that the shale revolution is breaking the bankroll for Islamist terrorism and simultaneously disincentivizing direct involvement in the region on our part... I don't think they'll do that either.
