I worked in a nursing home as a housekeeper, I loved my residents, they were dying alone, I did not want to get them sick. I was made to work on the covid floor. For me I deeply regret it. My own health has become poor. I am 62. I am angry at myself for my empathy.

My son planted cabbage on our local farm. As an at home mom and a Mason for a husband, we were poor. But a roof, yard, chickens hunting, fishing, no extras. At 15 my son got a summer job, with the Mexican workers, dide by side on the planter. All summer. He paid for his own x-box
