@B_Inacio_ @corylav @FriedgeHNIC Blake will most likely crack the lineup next year. He’s only a year younger than Jarvis and already proved a lot in 2 years of college. Having him sit in the AHL makes little sense and his ELC will allow them to have more freedom in signing guys.

I gotta say, it’s refreshing seeing people come together over these teams. No animosity, just pure enjoyment of seeing the best players represent the country. Gonna be interesting to see how this changes when the season picks back up.

With this being in Europe there’s almost no chance we will see the Russian players getting to play then.
NHL commissioner Gary Bettman and NHLPA executive director Marty Walsh will have a joint news conference at 615 pm ET announcing plans for World Cup of Hockey in February 2028. Subject to change, but current plans would see some games played in Europe.
