Whenever I want to see my Mom I turn the TV off and if the lighting is perfect I see her in my reflection on the dark screen. I see my Dad whenever I walk past a mirror. I have my Dad’s Old Spice shaving mug and lathering brush on a shelf in my bedroom. Miss them dearly.

I am RN/FNP 40 year career, retired 10/19. Baffled by medical today. They don’t want to touch you, half way listen, and order too many tests. I over examined. Come in for a splinter and get a prostate exam. JK. I can’t imagine navigating through a cancer diagnosis. Prayers!

I was shocked he didn’t call Blanca until next day. Shocked she didn’t already know because of her husband being a police officer. Maybe there was gag order among the sheriff. Calling Buster would be hardest call to make and I feel like I might have delayed calling him too.
