Regina’s city council is deliberating on a 8.5% increase to property taxes and a further 5.82% utility bill increase citing replacing critical infrastructure, countering inflation, demand for policing, and an extra $12.7 million for the REAL District. The city manager stated anything less would mean service cuts and asked council, “If you’re wanting city administration to reduce their portion more, what are you willing to give up or change?”

RCMP have confirmed Keagan Panipekeesick has been arrested by the Regina Police Service in Regina. Keagan is the prime suspect in February 4ths firearms incident at Zagimē and possibly the quadruple homicide at Carry the Kettle. RCMP say more information will be shared when possible.

On February 4th there was a quadruple homicide on Carry the Kettle and a male pointing a f*rearm on Zagimē. It’s unknown if these events are related. The Saskatchewan RCMP is asking the public to remain vigilant and exercise caution. Do not approach suspicious persons or pick up hitchhikers. If you see Keagan Panipekeesick, do not approach him. Contact 911 immediately.

Keagan was arrested in 2014 by Regina SWAT in North Central for discharging an illegal firearm during a home invasion. He was also arrested by RPS in 2016 for a rash of crimes with Team Cheese, a gang under the Native Syndicate. This is a recent photo from his Instagram.
