During a consultative meeting on immigration matters with UNON officials led by Director-General Zainab Bangura. Discussions focused on enhancing service efficiency, streamlining processes and strengthening support for international organizations in Kenya.

Chaired by @davischirchir, alongside @kipmurkomen & @Rebeccamiano , I attended the launch of the JKIA Customer Experience Implementation Plan. This initiative introduces a new service charter aimed at streamlining airport operations and enhancing the passenger experience.

Attended an NDIC meeting held at the Sarova Stanley in Nairobi, chaired by PS Dr. @ray_omollo (Interior). Also present were PS Dr. Salome Beacco (Correctional Services) and PS Abdi Dubat Fidhow (State Department for East Africa), among others.

Discussions centered on implementing reforms to enhance operational efficiency and streamlining our immigration and security services at JKIA to improve the passenger experience.

Also guided them through the passport issuance procedures and the role of the ETA system in simplifying travel requirements. Present were Amb. Isaac Ochieng, DG eCitizen Directorate, Mrs. Evelyne Cheluget, DG Immigration Services & other senior officials.

Hosted Prof. Patrick Verkooijen, Chancellor of the UoN, during a courtesy call at my office. Our discussion explored opportunities for collaboration between the university and the GoK in research, innovation and policy development to address key national and global challenges.
