I really respect Kendrick. Largely because he’s honest and not a hater. He was like “bro, I like some of your stuff, but I just hate you as a person and everything you stand for. Good tunes tho.” 😂
@Hess2Love
Can you take a picture of it? I think I know what you mean. If it’s what I’m thinking of, my granny writes the same way. She grew up in New Orleans.
@WEKetchum
Yeah, then he gave him props multiple times during the song. I’m using the word “hater” to mean someone who is jealous, or says things that are untrue about a person to make themselves look/feel better. His “hate” was literally just him not liking Drake.
@The_Real_McCoy
@BanUnsweetTea
Probably both tbh. The software used is likely inherently biased (because the builders were biased), and at which point applications pass the filters built into the software, the human doing the underwriting is probably biased too.
Reassurance is one of the most low effort, but high impact, things you can give people you care about. Just reminding them that they’re a priority to you and that you care about them. Goes such a long way.
Asking my parents if they got some “grandkids money” every time they ask me for grandchildren, the same way they did me all those years I asked for McDonald’s >>>
I want more founders to focus on getting customers. We’ve been trained to think you need to raise money and build a flawless app to be legit. You will surprise yourself by how much you can accomplish by just getting people to pay you.

Y’all gotta understand, several of the places Keith Lee went to eat in Atlanta, we, as people who live here, don’t even go eat. Because we know better. And that’s no disrespect. It’s just the truth.
Finally can announce that

Black Founders Fund! Can’t even put into words how much this means. This is how you make change!
…
Sharing this because entrepreneur life is not always glamorous, having a job is actually the better alternative for some people, and that’s completely okay!
This is the whole truth. Y’all come to Atlanta and go to hookah spots that double as restaurants and then say the whole city of Atlanta has bad food. There are so many good restaurants here.
Isaiah Rashad just performed the Cilvia Demo album at The Tabernacle in Atlanta to kick off Memorial Day weekend. My voice is gone. My life is beautiful.

Show people grace. Some people are really down bad but put a smile on everyday like everything is okay despite their circumstance. Show love by default and some of those people who really need it will benefit by virtue.
I typically get to concerts early to hear the openers and the DJs in between sets. The DJ yesterday at Teezo’s show played a song I hadn’t heard before. Shazammed it. It was by an artist from Atlanta named Anycia. Been jamming her tape all day.
@daymondwho
I agree, but I would argue that he might have a more loyal following than all of them outside of Kendrick. I could not believe what I was witnessing at his show. One of the best rap concerts I’ve ever been to.
@solodeauxleaux
This is easily the funniest tweet I’ve seen all week. Mostly because it was in Lindbergh and bro was probably tryna get to Lenox before the rush 😭
I saw Kevin on the beltline today and stopped to talk to him for a minute. He’s retired miltary, ex-math teacher, and now comes to the beltline daily and does a little bit of real estate on the side.
Y’all even seen that older black man on the beltline who’s always skating and singing and cheering everybody on? I wanna know what he does for a living because bro is literally always out there lol
Hey y’all. Emotions that aren’t “happy” are not failure. Being sad isn’t failure. Being uncomfortable isn’t failure. Being apathetic or indifferent aren’t failure either. They’re just human. And part of life. It’s okay.
I’m honestly very much for making our elected officials live in discomfort like this because they are really our employees as American tax payers, and make decisions that directly impact our lives, but they continually play in our faces.
I don’t like the “never quit” mindset. I think it’s important to know when to quit stuff. Know when things aren’t serving you, and when you can get better returns on you energy, and adjust accordingly.
Happy Sunday. Don’t spend time convincing people (customers, partners, friends, etc). Communicate the facts and expected value/benefit, then let people decide for themselves.
Entrepreneurship is really a roller coaster. And sometimes it’s the old rickety wooden roller coaster that jerks you all over the place and has you getting off with your neck hurting and asking yourself why you did that dumb shit in the first place. But you keep riding 😊
I was out to lunch earlier today and this guy walks up and was like “are you Julius?” I was like “yeah.” He was like “man, I thought that was you. I was watching you on Revolt TV at a strip club in New Jersey last night. Loved your pitch.” 😂
