Later, I visited Evas Akampurira, a beneficiary of the PDM program from Rubanda District. She rears chickens for sale. She began with 50 chickens, bought using PDM money. Now she has 357 Layer chickens and 2 pigs. We can generate substantial profits from eggs by adding value, such as producing baby food for export, which opens up a significant market. The same applies to pig farming; we can enhance value by creating products like sausages and other pork items. I commend Evas and her husband. We shall support them with their expansion plans. Tomorrow, I will visit another farmer and meet with the leaders of Kigezi.
