Epidemiological transition. Less infectious diseases leads to lower child mortality then longer lifespan. NCDs creep in thru our diets and lifestyle. High alcohol intake, unhealthy work envts and inactivity are going to kill us faster than KFC.
From a public health perspective, you can know a lot about a countryās health by looking at what the middle class is being told to eat. The bill boards on major roads leading in and out of the city are advertising meats (mainly junk), alcohol and soda. It should surprise no one to learn that Uganda is seeing an increase in non communicable diseasesā¦more people are getting diabetes, hypertension and all manner of cardiovascular diseases at a younger age and in larger numbers than weāve previously seen. Something needs to be done about it.

@FahadMatovu1 @HustleKing01 In cases where a dogās aggressive behavior is seen to be untreatable and the animal is now a threat to the owners and the society, unfortunately the dog will be euthanized(š) on behavioral grounds. I donāt know anything about Mr. Owori and his dog so I canāt condemn the dog.
