Australian gender clinics are same as UK. They follow the discredited Dutch protocol, the “affirmation model” whereby the multidisciplinary team affirms the young person. Ask any parent & they will say, once your child goes to a gender clinic they will be on a medical pathway.

in Federal Parliament you have me in tears of gratitude. Our children have been caught up in a medical scandal. Any member voting against an inquiry will have to live with the knowledge they’re covering up egregious harm.

Shitshow just didn’t exist in the 1990s. Not one of our sons (now in their 30s) knew anyone confused about their sex. Teachers didn’t hide things from us in the 1990s & early 2000s. Teachers weren’t trying to influence our kids with politics & ideology. The trans juggernaut 2/6

I'm trying to stop our mentally ill daughter doing this. Staff at ACON are telling her "top surgery" is nothing like having a double mastectomy. They've told her that they can refer her to a plastic sugeron & they will give her a job if she transitons. This is happening in NSW.
