Yes, this is one of the best ideas in naming I’ve seen in a while - props @bluesky.
bluesky's decision to make usernames DNS names seemed weird when i read about it but now seems like the obviously right solution. org usernames can be their domain name.verification can happen at the naming level.custom usernames don't have redundant cruft.

Hey @signalapp would it be useful to build a relay network over a gossip protocol? @libp2p gossipsub is ready to go. Could deploy a network of proxies relaying over gossipsub. Can work w/ browsers so volunteers could open a webpage, or install an extension.
