One of the nurses from the video is now in hospital over mental health concerns. This is absolute bullshit. This is what happens when the lobby and our politicians rush to fan Islamophobia without investigation. This young person did something stupid for sure, 1/2

Most moral army tortured Dr. Safiya and made him sit naked on sharp gravel. His real crime was authoring an oped for the NYT and serving as a trusted source for Western media. He’s still being held. It took untold courage to reveal this abuse while still in custody.
