Tonight, I continue to honor David Lynch. Rewatching my favorite episode from “Twin Peaks: The Return”, Part 8, “Gotta Light?”. It’s an episode I revisit from time to time when I’m feeling low. From Nine Inch Nails’ performance at the Roadhouse to the Trinity nuclear test scene, the surreal 2001: A Space Odyssey-style visuals, and even Bob making an appearance—it’s all there. And of course, that creature is just the best.

Synecdoche New York. Truly opened my eyes, i was dealing with existential dread in 2019-2020, thoughts of life, death, and is it worth it. Watching this movie made me feel like someone else understood that pain. Even though I'm better now, this movie still holds a special place.
