I met Mr. Dryfuss once, in'92 after a performance of Streetcar. I had heard he was horrible to people. He came outside, 17 of us were waiting and hoping. He signed autographs and answered questions til there were no more. Said "Thank you, goodnight", walked away. Wonderful man.

Surgery. Sometimes minor, sometime less minor. They have to be careful to not allow a piece to get loose or strokes, pulmonary embolisms, etc. I don't know if Mri or what can see them in the body, but no real news is getting out.
