The Reaper is a Roughneck.
Cordell Hastings has been selected by the
@NLLRoughnecks
in the 5th round of the NLL entry draft.
Huge congrats for a hugely deserved honour.
The Founders Cup continued its tour of Alberta with a trip to Johnston’s Canyon today. The cup agreed it would like to stay in Alberta long term. Great beers and great scenery.
A season with a whole lot more highs than lows. A season that defined who we are. A season to keep building off of.
A season to remember.
Are we proud?
There you have it: the Shamrocks are National Champions. This is the top of the mountain on a long climb up. Read about how we got here, what happened in the final game, and what this win means.
Why is it called the "Larry Bishop Memorial Cup"?
We think it's important you know the man behind the trophy that teams will be competing for this weekend.
A Mountie dad has been helping in the box, something he does for the Roughnecks as well.
A Blizz dad came up to the announcing booth to help with player pronunciation.
A Chill dad continues to help with our silent auction.
Thank you to all. The lacrosse community is special.
A sad 48 hours for the Alberta lacrosse landscape. 2 phenomenal builders and volunteers have passed away. Bill Sucha and Wayne Sutherland. Dave Sucha was our former Head Coach and Manager, Steve was an Assistant Coach. Our condolences to them and of course

From the coaches...
“Obviously there’s not much to say, that’s the best game I’ve been a part of... now we have Founders... You guys killed it. I don’t know if some of you guys realize how big this is for this organization. I couldn’t be more happy to be a part of this family.”
The Gold Medal matchup is set! The Shamrocks have advanced to the championship against the Red Deer Rampage. Game is tomorrow at 1PM.
Thank you to all teams that competed.
One team goes to Founders, one team’s season ends. Be there to find out.

“As a captain, he was so good at taking the temperature of the team, taking the temperature of the coaches, and being so mature with figuring out what to do with that.”
Man of the Year and MVP: Robson Ramsay
Press Release: Head Coach Andrew Smistad is stepping down after accepting a coaching job at Bates College.
President and GM Jason Crook will once again be Head Coach in 2023.

An absolute wealth of lacrosse knowledge and experience has been added to the coaching staff for 2024.
Krista has been around the Shamrocks for years, and we are so excited that she’s now behind the bench for us.
We got a really thoughtful note in the mail last week from the Autism Aspergers Friendship Society. We had the honour of hosting them last year. It was truly our pleasure!
3rd-year Shamrock Nick Drennan will soon also be a Pioneer.
Nick has committed to Tusculum University in Greeneville, Tennessee.
Great day for Nick, great day for the Pioneers!
A particularly special win for the only fifth year on the team: Bryan Houghton.
Although he did play enough games as an affiliate in midget that its basically his sixth year!
As the Shamrocks start preparing for the week in Winnipeg for
@FoundersCupLax
we spoke to Head Coach Jason Crook about the journey up until this point, as well as what lies ahead.
On behalf of dad, Dev Lax, Joel Lucas, and the Ramsay family, we want to say:
A) we missed
@RMLaxL
lacrosse in 2020
B) we especially missed games at Stu Peppard
C) the Shamrock family wishes you a Merry Christmas

It is thank a paramedic week. We are lucky to have a medic on our staff that doesn’t share his medical knowledge with us, but instead his lacrosse knowledge. Thank you to Defensive Coordinator Colton Barby for making

The Shamrocks would like to give a big thank you to

If you're ever feeling like Greek food for lunch or dinner, think of Paros Real Greek (available on Skip The Dishes).

We are exactly one week away from the Jr. B Tier I South Draft
In 2015, the Shamrocks selected five players that would help win the 2019 national title, scoring 14 of our 16 goals in the final.
Needless to say, it's a very important day for the Shamrocks and all junior teams.
We're all missing lacrosse, but if you're trying to improve your cooking skills while in self-isolation, a few Shamrocks players may be able to help. We asked players what their tastiest dish is and how they make it.
First up: Robson Ramsay's homemade perogies.
Our season ended quicker than we hoped but it's never a bad day when you're running with the Shamrocks.
Thanks to families, friends, and all who supported us in 2023.
We'll be back.
