@MJJohns89100431 Where did you get this information, ahaha? And this was not just the police, it was a special force. Are you for communism?

@NathanBlades3 Wow, this is crazy! What was your annual salary back then, if you don't mind me asking?

It was a very important matter, even for you. The two key organizers actually had a plan to clean it all up, but they didn't have the time to do so because the emergency act was put forward. I understand that blocking the streets was a big problem, but people need to understand the bigger picture. Don't believe all the propaganda or the news, make up your own mind.

The Freedom Convoy aimed to be a peaceful protest, sparking debate on freedoms. If giving out free coffee and playing hockey in the streets are acts of treason to you, then so be it. Burning the Canadian flag and vandalizing property, as reported in most Palestinian protests, is a different matter. That was truly an act of treason. Look it up yourself to educate yourself on the matter.

@MJJohns89100431 Imbeciles are everywhere, but 99.9% of the people were completely peaceful playing hockey in the streets, giving out free coffee and donuts. Don't believe the propaganda, it was one of the most peaceful and most Canadian protests of all time.

As Canadians, we should be able to defend ourselves in our homes without a doubt that self-defense will be recognized. Read below 👇🏻 Only 2.8% of violent crimes in Canada involve a firearm. The vast majority of violent crime does not involve guns. Crimes committed with legally owned firearms are extremely rare, estimated at only 0.28% of all violent crimes. Rural and Indigenous communities depend on firearms for hunting, predator control, and traditional practices. Banning and confiscating legally owned, non-assault-style firearms would have minimal impact on crime since criminals already acquire weapons illegally. Instead efforts should focus on: 1. Strengthening border security to reduce firearm smuggling. 2. Targeting gang-related gun violence in urban areas. 3. Improving mental health support to prevent suicides and domestic violence involving firearms. 4. Gun control should address only actual sources of crime, not punish law-abiding gun owners.

Makes no sense at all, but the thing is, the last time Canadians protested about an issue, the government approved an emergency act against its own people. Freezing bank accounts and imposing a vaccine mandate. I don't think most Canadians have the guts now to take action. Canadians are scared to speak their own mind.

@investsmart94 Well, D.O.G.E just means Department of Government Efficiency. We’re not American, we have our own identity, but I love the idea of reshaping the government to make it more efficient. But don’t get it twisted, I don’t idealize Musk or Trump, I just like the idea. 🫡
